It’s dynamite…I cannot wait tom hear more“ – Amy Lamé, BBC 6 music

“Cosmic-pop in its finest form” - Magnetic Magazine

Berlin-based artist PYRAME releases cosmic-pop inspired EP ‘A Fine Life’ via HIFI/LOFI Records.

PYRAME’s debut EP is a homage to human relationships, both with other people and the wider world. Influenced by French pop, catchy indietronica beats and a hint of disco, PYRAME uses his poetic lyrics throughout the project to articulate his feelings about love, relationships and liberation. ‘A Fine Life’ EP pulses with groovy beat patterns, shimmering synths and warped electronic melodies.

The latest release, ‘Losing Control’, is an upbeat, punchy dance track with pounding synths and notable French disco and funk undertones. "It's all about embracing our life, the only one we have, to the fullest" PYRAME explains. "The song conveys a message of self-acceptance and positivism. And why not go a little crazy and lose some control?”

PYRAME is the musical project of David Naville, a Swiss traveller and cosmic poet now residing in Berlin. Taking his stage name from the Greek word for river, ‘Pyramus’, PYRAME has already garnered support from Magnetic Magazine, Indie Berlin, Decoded Magazine and Nothing But Hope And Passion, as well as receiving airplay from Amy Lamé on BBC 6 Music.

‘A Fine Life’ EP is an introspective musical journey, offering new perspectives on the world that surrounds David Naville. With a refined appreciation for French-disco, cosmic pop and electronica, ‘A Fine Life’ EP gives further evidence of PYRAME’s innate capability to create compelling musical narratives.

The EP was mixed by Matthieu Brismontier at MOWD Studio, mastered by Bob Weston (LCD Soundsystem) at Chicago Mastering Service and Sam Berdah at The Wall and the EP's Vinyl Release B-Side contains stunning remixes from the likes of Rodion, Acid Washed, Days Of Being Wild and Omer.
